Version 1.5 started... 19/11/01 - Gave up on the PC version FAQ due to awful FMV quality. CHARACTERS: ----------- - KARN CLASS: Fighter. WEAPON TYPES: Sword, Plasma Rifle. ARMOUR TYPES: Mail , Boots on hands, Barrel. SKILLS: Annoyance. LIMIT BREAK: Whirlybash. NOTES: Has among the highest attack and defence ratings in the game. His lack of Magic is made up for by his love of all forms of sword/blade/shiny thing. Along with Chookie, he has the lowest intelligence rating in the game and his common sense rating is in the minuses. - ARDAM CLASS: Mage. WEAPON TYPES: Staff, Amulet. ARMOUR TYPES: Blue cloth, Silly pointy hat. SKILLS: Black Magic, White Magic, Blue Magic, Indigo magic, Yellow with a hint of green magic, Summon, Armageddon Beam. LIMIT BREAK: Heaven's Justice. NOTES: Although lacking in the offensive and defensive area, Ardam can use the most powerful spells. He also has th ehighest common sense rating in the game, which gains him nothing. - CHOOKIE CLASS: Cute fuzzy thing. WEAPON TYPES: Chook Gloves, Chook Blade. ARMOUR TYPES: Pink fuzz. SKILLS: Chookie Punch, Chookie Fury. LIMIT BREAK: Giant Chookie Rampage. NOTES: 0 intelligence, 0 common sense and very low attack and defence ratings but a full 20 in comic relief points. - DRECKER CLASS: Theif. WEAPON TYPES: Dagger. ARMOUR TYPES: Waistcoat, Karn's armour. SKILLS: Steal GP, Steal Item, Backstab, Throw. LIMIT BREAK: Mug. NOTES: A very slow speed rating, he cannot notice his own underwear being stolen by the person he's talking to, partially accredited to the other person's nija abilities. - GILWARD CLASS: Bard. WEAPON TYPES: Harp. ARMOUR TYPES: Silly hat, Cloak. SKILLS: Melody, Hide. LIMIT BREAK: Melody of Finite. NOTES: While the harp has attack potential (you could tie someone's tongue to the strings or something, I dunno), Gilward's high cowardice rating means he lacks the ability to physically attack the enemy without a 500 to 1 chance of wetting himself. - KARASHI CLASS: Ninja. WEAPON TYPES: Katana, Shuriken, Water edge, Fire edge, Manganese edge. ARMOUR TYPES: Gi. SKILLS: Throw lvl2. LIMIT BREAK: Steal Underwear. NOTES: High speed and stealth ratings are useful for attacking although her throw lvl2 ability is a lot more useful. - EVIL KILLER DEATH SPYBOT 5000 CLASS: Evil Killer Death Spybot(tm). WEAPON TYPES: Destroy. ARMOUR TYPES: K-Class Manganese Plating. SKILLS: Evil, Kill, Death, Destroy. LIMIT BREAK: Sing. NOTES: It's sing limit break is the most powerful in the game, causing the enemy to run off and buy the single. - TESLA CLASS: Gunslinger. WEAPON TYPES: Pistol. ARMOUR TYPES: Body armour. SKILLS: Elemental shot. LIMIT BREAK: Manganese tipped bullet. NOTES: When placed in a party with Ardam there is a 38% change of entering the 'Magey Cutie' status ailment rendering her and Ardam useless. - KHRIMA CLASS: Villain WEAPON TYPES: n/a ARMOUR TYPES: n/a SKILLS: Basic Orange magic. LIMIT BREAK: Summon bus. NOTES: You briefly gain control of Khrima for a battle against Eternion, see 'Hardest Boss Tactics' section. HARDEST BOSS TACTICS: --------------------- THE AXE LOCATION: Geldrin Planes. LEVEL 37 2436HP SKILLS: K-Type Laser. TACTICS: After two rigged battles where both Gilward and Karn are disposed of, you assume control of new recruit Tesla Tracker for a one on one battle with The Axe. At present all Tesla has is her basic gun attack so the battle is straightforward and easy unless you lack the ability to repeatedly press x. ETERNION LOCATION: After receiving Ancient Red Blade of Kh'inark. LEVEL 42 HP n/a SKILLS: Eternal strength, Eternal beam, Void Thunder. TACTICS: As the heroes are about to die in a dramatic FMV style, Khrima swoops in to take care of Eternion. Be sure to use Khrima's K-Shield when Eternion begins taking in energy as he is about to use the devestation Eternal beam. Khrima's Oragnge magic is very powerful and if you gain access to his limit break the battle will be short. After dealing sufficient damage to Eternion or 7 minutes expires, ternion will cast Void Thunder, dealing 9999 damage. Fortunatley, Gilward enters the battle, limit break charged, to deal the final blow. MAXIMA TERMIS LOCATION: Grand Inn LEVEL 56 156723HP SKILLS: Grand Flash, Judgement Breath. TACTICS: This battle is easy if you know how but impossible if you don't. Ignore Spybot as the metal one is killed in the first strike. Gilward's melodies are useless against the Grand Council Leader, even the Melody of Finite. Us his Cower technique to hold out against the onslaught and repeatedly heal Ardam. Ardam must first cast invisibility on Maxima Termis. Then wait until your opponent becomes engrossed in making the chair look like it's floating before casting Undimension, thus ending the battle. MIZUNA LOCATION: Blasting Plains LEVEL 35 2654HP SKILLS: Kyu Dash, Shuriken, Laser Edge. TACTICS: As long as you heal yourself before Mizuna uses a Laser Edge the battle should be straightforward. As Mizuna enters her Limit Break use the memory stone from the Ancient Cave to trigger a flashback of past promises, ending the Limit Break. Continue with Shuriken or any other projectile attacks to finish the battle. WHIZROM LOCATION: Mount Hillpeak LEVEL 14 628HP SKILLS: Earth4 TACTICS: Whizrom's MAG DEF+ Ring protects him from strong magic so use weaker spells. For example, Ardam's Limit Break, Heaven's Justice, does little damage, while Fire1 for example, does loads and physical attacks do the most as he is a wizard, hence low HP and DEF.
